# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Unit – Tennessee
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required; weekdays flexible. Days: 5-6:1 patient ratio; Nights: 6:1 patient ratio
Highlights:- 28-bed Medical-Surgical unit with comprehensive patient care
- Meditech electronic documentation system
- Strong unit support including Unit Secretary and 2-3 Patient Care Technicians on day shift
- Advanced equipment including Sara Steady lifts, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry
- Minimal floating policy – primarily between Medical-Surgical units on a PRN basis
- Collaborative team environment focused on patient experience through BSSR and hourly rounding protocols
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification required
- NIH and CPI certifications preferred
- Strong assessment skills required
- Demonstrated experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Proficiency in IV and Foley catheter placement
