Candidates must have a current, unencumbered nursing license. A current driver’s license or state identification is required. CPR certification must be current AHA/BLS and active for at least one year upon hire. Online CPR certifications, Heart Code/Heart Saver BLS will not be accepted. A TB test or screening must be fully completed before hire. Candidates can complete a 2-step TB skin test, an IGRA-TB blood test, or a chest X-ray. Annual TB screening is required after initial clearance. Proof of annual influenza vaccination is mandatory during flu season or an application for exemption must be approved. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and able to work in all units. Lifting up to 50 lbs is necessary. No vacation days are allowed during the first 60 days of employment.
