# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical Unit – Tennessee
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required, flexible weekdays. Days: 5-6:1 patient ratio; Nights: 6:1 patient ratio. PRN float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed.
Highlights:- 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit on the 3rd floor with comprehensive support staff including unit secretaries and 2-3 patient care technicians per shift
- Work with advanced equipment including Sara Steady lifts, Wound Vac therapy, Tele Health, virtual sitter equipment, and remote telemetry monitoring
- Meditech electronic medical record system for streamlined documentation
- Perform essential procedures including IV and foley catheter placement
- Collaborative care environment with access to IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
- Patient-centered care model emphasizing hourly rounding and patient experience excellence
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification required
- NIH and CPI certifications preferred
- Strong assessment skills essential
- Experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems required
- Proficiency in IV and foley catheter placement
- Black or Royal Blue scrubs required
