Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a separate telemetry monitoring unit
Float as needed to all acute care areas, cardiology (to manage medical patients), and the EC for acute care patient holds
Collaborate with CNA support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
Adhere to unit dress code; Caribbean Blue scrubs required
