Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Perform basic patient assessments and general care for wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, and drains
- Manage chest tubes, strokes, seizures, dialysis, and PCA pumps
- Care for post-op patients with amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, and wound vacs
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
- Ability to perform patient care procedures including heparin drips
