Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting within a Critical Access Hospital environment
Float between the Medical/Surgical unit and the Emergency Department as operationally needed
Perform charge nurse duties as required
Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 in the Med/Surg setting
Required Qualifications
Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license - must be in-hand at time of submission
Minimum prior experience in Medical/Surgical, Emergency Room, and Charge Nurse roles
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
TNCC certification required
Completed Med/Surg and ER Skills Checklists required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
