TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Springfield, Tennessee, 37172!

# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Springfield, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 days per week with every other weekend; 5:1 patient ratio on 27-bed units

Highlights:
  • Medical-Surgical units specializing in post-operative care with emphasis on orthopedic patients
  • EMR system: Meditech Expanse with Computer on Wheels technology
  • Supportive staffing model including unit secretaries during dayshift and patient care techs on all shifts
  • Modern equipment including Pyxis medication dispensing and Welch Allen vital sign machines
  • Float between two similar Med-Surg units for variety and skill development
  • Performance of essential nursing procedures including blood transfusions and IV/central line maintenance
Requirements:
  • Active Tennessee RN license or compact state license
  • Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
  • Post-operative patient care experience, especially with orthopedic patients
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred but not required
  • Professional dark blue scrubs required
