Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Surgical Trauma – Georgia
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: Assigned shifts based on facility needs; no block scheduling available. 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support technicians, phlebotomists, and unit secretary support during night shifts.
Highlights:
- High-acuity surgical trauma floor with complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma victims, and patients with spinal cord injuries
- Collaborative care environment with dedicated support staff including nursing techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries
- Standardized nurse handoff process between ED and admitting unit to ensure seamless care transitions
- EPIC EMR system utilized across the facility
- Minimum 2 years of experience required in surgical or trauma specialty nursing
- No time off requests available during contract period
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state license with ability to practice in Georgia
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical or trauma nursing specialty
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system required
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts as scheduled by the facility
