# Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 5:1 patient ratio in a 10-bed rapid admission unit with faster patient turnover than traditional medical/surgical units

Highlights:
  • Rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
  • 10-bed telemetry unit with dynamic patient flow and higher turnover rates
  • Requires strong independent practice and clear communication skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience in specialty required

Requirements:
  • Active Georgia nursing license or compact state license eligible for Georgia practice
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical or telemetry nursing experience
  • Complete work history with employment gaps not exceeding 60 days
  • Completed skills checklist and professional references
  • Nursys license verification
