Experience in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions.
Strong background in medical surgical and rehabilitation patient care.
Ability to work with interdisciplinary support teams.
Description:
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for an inpatient rehabilitation and medical surgical unit.
The role involves working in a 33-bed adult unit with a patient ratio of 1:6, flexing up to 1:7 as needed.
Common patient diagnoses include stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputees, and multi-traumas.
The chartering system used is EPIC, and experience is preferred.
Weekend requirements may include every other weekend or six weekend shifts within a six-week scheduling block.
The candidate must be willing to work one holiday per 13-week contract.
This position may require floating to different units as needed.
Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements is mandatory, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
