Description:
Position available for a Registered Nurse in an Inpatient Rehab/Med Surg setting.
The shift will be three 12-hour nights from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
Weekend shifts may be required every other week or a total of 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week scheduling block.
All requests for time off must be submitted with candidate information.
The facility can call off one shift every two weeks if necessary.
Nurses must be available to work at least one holiday during the 13-week contract period.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility will not be considered.
Pending licenses are acceptable only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state.
A detailed review of clinical skills is required.
Daily patient ratios are typically 1:6 and may flex to 1:7 based on patient needs.
Common patient diagnoses include strokes, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and multi-trauma cases.
The unit consists of 33 beds focused on adult patient care and does not include telemetry services.
Nurses may be required to float to other areas if staffing needs arise.
Compliance documentation must be submitted as per the facility guidelines.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Travel experience is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in patient care and safety.
