# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical – Texas
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, no on-call required
Highlights:- 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit with established team of 50+ staff members
- Night shift patient ratio of 1:6 with charge nurse support
- Meditech EMR system with modern communication technology including i-mobile iPhones and radio headsets
- Diverse case mix including post-surgical patients, kidney transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic care
- Weekend rotation includes at least every other weekend
- Award-winning unit recognized as Unit of Distinction 2021
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse license
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience with transplant patients, dialysis, and diabetic care preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
