This role involves working within a 10-bed rapid admission unit that handles both general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting procedures. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide comprehensive care to general medical and surgical patients
- Efficiently manage a 5:1 patient ratio in a 10-bed unit
- Facilitate patient admissions and discharges in a rapid turnover environment
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical specialty
- Active Nursys license verification
- Complete and up-to-date work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
- Skills checklist, references, and certification card
