**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Nashville, TN
- **Unit Name:** 2nd Medical
- **Number of Beds:** 28
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Days: 5-6:1
- Nights: 6:1
- **Unit Staffing:**
- Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- **Type of Equipment:**
- Sara Steady
- Wound Vac
- Tele Health
- Virtual Sitter equipment
- Remote telemetry
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- Every other Weekend (Saturday, Sunday)
- Weekdays are flexible
- **Floating Policy:** PRN, primarily between Medical/Surgical units
- **Patient Experience Requirements:**
- BSSR
- Hourly Rounding
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Must-Have Skills:**
- Strong assessment skills
- Experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
- **Advanced Skills Needed:**
- Procedures performed on unit: IV and Foley catheter placement
- **Certifications Required:**
- BLS
- NIH
- CPI (preferred)
- **Dress Code:**
- Black or royal blue scrubs
