# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical – Colorado
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Englewood, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Day Shift | Patient ratio 4:1 on days, 5:1 on nights | Med/Tele unit with 33 rooms, up to 49 patients
Highlights:- Specialty medical floor focusing on surgical flap patients, including spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
- Collaborative environment partnering with burn unit to provide care for low acuity burn patients
- Telemetry monitoring and wound care experience, including occasional bowel programs and light burn care
- EMR system: Meditech
- Team of 62 staff members with experienced charge nurses and dedicated patient care technicians
- Fast-paced, dynamic environment ideal for nurses who thrive in busy clinical settings
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Medical/Surgical experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with spinal cord injury patients preferred
- Active RN license in good standing
