Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage PCA pumps
- Manage surgical drains and provide complex wound care
- Administer and monitor gtts such as Cardizem, Nitro, and Amio
- Conduct safety rounds and perform ADLs with CNA support
- Interpret cardiac strips and manage telemetry monitoring
- Equip patients with external fixators, chest tubes, and trachs
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Tele experience
- Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and TR bands
