**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Chattanooga, TN
- **Unit Name:** 4east
- **Hours:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Cost Center:** 611
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Number of Beds:** 30
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Staffing Support:** Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management
- **Type of Equipment:** Walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and more
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
- **Scheduling Requirements:** 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, rotates through holidays
- **Floating Policy:** Staff may float as needed
- **Patient Experience Requirements:** Aim for 72% satisfaction using communication boards
**Position Requirements:**
- **Licensure:** Active RN License
- **Essential Skills:** Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication
- **Advanced Skills:**
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Proficiency in handling various respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, and indwelling catheters
- Familiarity with heparin gtts
**Certifications Required:**
- BLS
**Dress Code:**
- Navy Blue Scrubs
