TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Florence, Alabama, 35630!
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit serving adult and geriatric populations
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing interventions
Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes using Meditech EHR
Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
Collaborate as a team player and take ownership of assigned patient responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama or compact eligibility
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
Demonstrated med/surg clinical skills and competency
Ability to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
Familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations
