Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EHR
Float to other units as required based on facility needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
Take ownership of assigned patients and contribute as a reliable team member
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Ability to work rotating weekends
Must meet travel contract eligibility requirements - local candidates are subject to a rate reduction
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
Familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, self-directed work style
