Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg team for a 13-week contract. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care while managing multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the physician.
- Implement physician orders and established care plans.
- Educate patients and families throughout the admission and discharge process.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to nursing assistants.
- Maintain patient safety and follow facility policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Nursing experience.
- CPR certification.
- Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.
