Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Surgery Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Hospital-assigned shifts (block scheduling not available). 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary coverage at night. Mandatory holiday coverage required (Thanksgiving or day after, plus Christmas or New Year's period).

Requirements:
  • Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent surgery/trauma nursing experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
  • Ability to manage high-acuity trauma patients including surgical interventions, penetrating trauma, and spinal cord injuries
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts and mandatory holiday coverage
