Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 37-bed surgical unit that also accommodates medical overflow patients
• Manage a patient assignment of approximately 4 patients per RN during day/evening hours and 5–6 patients per RN during night hours
• Document patient care and clinical assessments using Epic (Excellian)
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Participate in every third weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Minnesota license in hand preferred (pending licensure will be considered)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with Epic/Excellian charting system required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Fingerprinting/LiveScan background check required per Minnesota state mandate; candidates must be able to complete this process prior to start
• Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or surgical overflow unit setting
• Familiarity with trauma and teaching hospital environments
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
