Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia
Start Date: October 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement; patient ratio 1:5-6; 33-bed unit with average daily census of 28 patients; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; call requirements include every other weekend, holidays as needed, and relief charge duties
Highlights:
- Medical Surgical/Remote Telemetry unit treating adult to geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses including diabetes, post-operative care, wound vacs, and bariatrics
- Epic charting system required; additional technologies include Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and social services
- Modern equipment including Diligent lift equipment, space labs in every room, and advanced monitoring technology
- Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; orientation provided based on contract length
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with 5-6 patient ratios preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS certification required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Proficiency in essential skills including blood product administration, IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, wound care/wound vac management, chest tube care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, and use of rapid response/code teams
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
