Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Springfield, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 days per week with every other weekend; 5:1 patient ratio on 27-bed units
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical nursing on dedicated MS units with established patient ratios
- Experience with post-operative patients, particularly orthopedic cases
- Meditech Expanse electronic documentation system with Computer on Wheels technology
- Supportive unit staffing including unit secretaries during day shift and techs on all shifts
- Float between two similar Medical-Surgical units within the same facility
- Hands-on experience with blood transfusions, IV therapy, and central line maintenance
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Post-operative patient care experience, especially orthopedic patients
- Proficiency with IV therapy, central lines, and blood transfusion protocols
