Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Springfield, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 days per week with every other weekend; 5:1 patient ratio on 27-bed units

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical nursing on dedicated MS units with established patient ratios
• Experience with post-operative patients, particularly orthopedic cases
• Meditech Expanse electronic documentation system with Computer on Wheels technology
• Supportive unit staffing including unit secretaries during day shift and techs on all shifts
• Float between two similar Medical-Surgical units within the same facility
• Hands-on experience with blood transfusions, IV therapy, and central line maintenance

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Post-operative patient care experience, especially orthopedic patients
• Proficiency with IV therapy, central lines, and blood transfusion protocols
