Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
Experience with medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations
Description:
This position requires working in a medical-surgical unit.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Patients are monitored in a centralized telemetry unit.
The unit has a free floating charge nurse model.
There is a house discharge nurse that floats across all departments.
Candidates should have experience with Epic and recent charting within the last 6 months.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:6.
Float to units of equal or lesser acuity is required.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary.
