Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting within an acute rehabilitation environment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute rehabilitation or inpatient hospital setting
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary team care models
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
