Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,876 per week in Travelers Rest, SC

Must live at least 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (night shift, Adult Medical Tele / Progressive Care specialty); candidates 50.0-99.9 miles away may be subject to a bill rate reduction. Floating is managed with a goal of keeping staff in their home unit, and any float assignments are limited to areas matching your demonstrated competencies.

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, 29690!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census and unit needs, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (approximately every other weekend, subject to unit needs)
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina (SC) Registered Nurse license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of experience in LTAC MS/Tele, Medical Surgical, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Must live at least 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (night shift, Adult Medical Tele / Progressive Care specialty); candidates 50.0-99.9 miles away may be subject to a bill rate reduction

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a travel nurse, though first-time travelers with strong relevant experience will be considered
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Experience across multiple acute care settings including LTAC, MS, and PCU environments
