**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Springfield, TN
- **Unit Name:** MS2 & MS3
- **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Number of Beds:** 27 on each floor
- **Patient Ratios:** 5:1
- **Staffing Support:**
- Unit secretaries available during dayshift
- Techs on all shifts
- **Equipment & Technology:**
- Computer on Wheels
- Pyxis
- Welch Allen vital sign machines
- **Documentation System:** Meditech Expanse
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- 3 days a week with every other weekend
- **Floating Policy:**
- Will float between MS2 and MS3
- **Patient Experience Requirements:**
- **Skill Set:**
- **Must Have:** Basic Med/Surg experience, especially with post-op orthopedic patients
- **Advanced Skills Needed:** NA
- **Common Procedures on Unit:**
- Blood transfusions
- IV and central line maintenance
- **Certifications Required:**
- BLS
- ACLS preferred but not required
- **Dress Code:** Dark blue uniform
