# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Oncology – Texas

Location: Arlington, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 12-hour shifts
Highlights
- 31-bed Medical Surgical/Oncology unit with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
- Diverse case mix including chemotherapy administration, neutropenia precautions, post-operative care, CBI, and hospice support
- EMR system: Meditech
- Standard medical surgical equipment with some traction devices
- Travel assignment with professional growth opportunities in oncology nursing
- Floating within medical surgical units as needed
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
- Post-surgical care experience required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Oncology chemotherapy certification (ONC) preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Oncology or Medical Surgical certification preferred but not required
