Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,868 per week in Nashville, TN

Perform and maintain post-operative surgical procedure site care, including wound care (packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed post-operative surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and maintain post-operative surgical procedure site care, including wound care (packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance)
• Manage Foley catheter care with continuous bladder irrigation, ostomy appliance changes, and nasogastric tube insertion and suction
• Administer TPN, blood products, and provide central line care and dressing changes
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and conduct bedside shift reports
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed, maintaining prompt attendance and professional, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required

• Background in post-operative surgical areas such as vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, or colorectal surgery
