Description:
This position requires a registered nurse specialized in medical surgical nursing.
The patient population includes adults to geriatrics, with a focus on post-surgical patients and some stroke overflow cases.
The nurse will be responsible for wound care and dressing changes.
They will manage TPN and PPN, NG tubes, CBI, Foley catheters, and PICC lines.
Pain management is also a critical responsibility of this role.
The expected patient ratio is 1:5-6, over 16 beds.
Experience with Epic charting system is required.
The nurse must be able to float within the facility as needed.
Availability to work every other weekend is expected.
Working during major holidays will be required as per the holiday schedule.
Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
