It provides primary and inpatient care, as well as various services including emergency, laboratory, imaging, and rehabilitation. The medical-surgical unit supports a patient population primarily consisting of adults aged 18 and older, with many patients being 65 and older. This is a 17-bed unit emphasizing teamwork and collaboration among staff. The unit provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services. There is no surgical service provided on site. The facility has a strong presence of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with respiratory therapy and 24-hour provider coverage. Imaging services, including CT and X-Ray, as well as laboratory services, are available around the clock. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. The dress code requires scrubs, with no specific color restrictions. Weekend shifts may be rotated, and the potential for floating between units exists.
