Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,860 per week in Nashville, TN

Float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity - travelers will be notified prior to their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required. Provide direct patient care within a Surgical Observation unit focused primarily on a women's oncology surgical population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Surgical Observation unit focused primarily on a women's oncology surgical population
• Deliver compassionate emotional and physical support to patients and their families throughout the care experience
• Monitor and assess patient status, responding appropriately to changes in condition or acuity
• Float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity - travelers will be notified prior to their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in the state of Tennessee
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test required prior to placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical or Surgical Observation setting
• Experience caring for oncology or post-surgical patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient- and family-centered care in emotionally sensitive environments
