Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity
• Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit environments as float assignments require
• Receive advance notification prior to a scheduled shift when a float assignment is required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or a compact license with Tennessee privileges
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Ability and willingness to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and varying patient acuity levels
• Experience working across multiple units or care settings
