Description: This position involves providing nursing care to patients in a medical surgical setting. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams. The RN will work with a patient ratio of 1:6-7. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating to meet facility needs may be necessary. The ideal candidate must possess critical thinking skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent patient communication and adaptability to changing conditions are vital. The facility has 28 inpatient beds and utilizes Epic for charting. Free parking is available for all staff. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during severe weather events.
