Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care across a diverse unit including medical, orthopedic, general surgery, GIP, telemetry, and stepdown patients
  • Manage a patient load of 5-7 patients, which may include several total care patients
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records proficiently for documentation and patient management
  • Rotate shifts across scheduled weekday and weekend rotations, with every 3rd weekend required
  • Participate in on-call coverage and holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Demonstrated confidence managing high-acuity and total care patient assignments
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with telemetry or stepdown patient populations
  • Familiarity with orthopedic and general surgery patient care
