Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification and management of dysrhythmias
- Float within scope to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June-November), as required by facility policy
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license - must be in hand prior to start date
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
- Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered at the standard rate; candidates within 60 miles may be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a community hospital setting
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with Epic charting platform
