Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Weekdays with every other weekend required | 36hr or 48hr contract options available
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients, including those receiving oncology, palliative care, and urology treatment on a 29-bed unit
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients as part of a blended medical-surgical and oncology caseload
• Perform and assist with specialized clinical skills including central line draws, port access, blood administration, PCA pump management, bone marrow aspiration assist, and Pleurx chest tube care
• Deliver family education related to oncological processes and palliative care planning
• Document all patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Float within scope to other areas of the facility as needed to meet staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Active West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ONCC or ONS certification required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, central line draws, port access, blood administration, PCA pumps, bone marrow aspiration assist, and Pleurx chest tubes
• Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates residing 75-100 miles away may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred; strong candidates without oncology experience will be considered
• Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center or major teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
