The work environment includes nursing support techs and a nurse handoff system involving the ED nurse and admitting unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Caring for a patient population that includes surgical, gunshot, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases
- Managing a patient ratio of 5:1
- Collaborating with support staff including nursing support techs and a unit secretary at night
- Utilizing EPIC for patient documentation
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty
- Proficiency in EPIC required
