Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights (18:45 - 07:15) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring
- Deliver nursing care on an isolation/COVID unit and overflow unit as needed
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to arrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required
- BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior experience in an isolation or COVID unit setting
