Description
TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Salt Lake City, Utah, 84101!
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a mixed Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio in a 34-bed unit
Perform procedures including Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
Operate unit equipment including bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs monitors, and vein finder
Fulfill on-call requirements up to twice per contract period
Work expected weekend shifts on Friday and Saturday nights, approximately every other week (4 weekend shifts per schedule)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
BLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Basic Arrhythmia certification required
Ability to float to all in-house Medical-Surgical units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification
Charge nurse experience
Flexible and organized work style well-suited to a fast-paced Med-Surg environment
