Description:
Nursing support for high acuity patients.
Patient population includes surgical cases, gunshot wounds, and individuals with quadriplegia or paraplegia.
Patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1.
Phlebotomy services are available on the unit.
A unit secretary is present during night shifts.
Collaboration with ED nurses and admitting staff for nurse handoff is required.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and teamwork in a challenging environment.
