Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical RN – Tennessee

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Self-scheduling available. Floating between two medical-surgical units as needed.
Highlights:
- 30-bed medical-surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Comprehensive unit support including 2-3 techs per shift, charge nurse, clinical coordinator, manager, and director
- Diverse skill set including IV therapy, wound care, cardiac monitoring with telemetry, and advanced procedures
- Equipment includes wound vacs, heparin drips, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanners, feeding pumps, and telemetry systems
- Editech documentation system for streamlined charting
- Recognition programs including Daisy Award, Bee Award, employee points, and colleague-to-colleague recognition
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state license
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency in IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with lab draws, IV therapy, and medical-surgical nursing
- Positive attitude with strong patient and family engagement skills
