Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit within a 345-bed, Magnet-designated acute care hospital
Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management
Maintain expected patient ratios of approximately 1:5 on night shift
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float to other units as needed
Collaborate as part of a team alongside RNs and CNAs across units
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure applicable to the state of Colorado
Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
BLS certification required
Strong teamwork skills and compassionate patient care approach
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification
Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
Experience with varied acute and chronic medical patient populations
