Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Surgery Trauma) – Georgia

Schedule: Assigned shifts (block schedules not available). 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary support during night shifts.

- High acuity surgery trauma floor serving a complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma, gunshot wounds, and patients with spinal cord injuries (quadriplegic and paraplegic)
- Collaborative care environment with nursing support techs, dedicated phlebotomists, and unit secretary coverage
- Structured handoff process with ED and admitting unit nurses to ensure continuity of care
- EPIC electronic medical record system utilized
- No requested time off (RTO) during assignment period
- Contract start date of September 2026
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or multistate compact licensure
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical trauma or high acuity medical-surgical nursing
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts as scheduled
