Advanced skills in medical-surgical experience, including experience with various respiratory diseases, renal disease, gastrointestinal illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care. The unit has 30 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Staffing includes clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and case management support. Equipment available includes walkers, IV pumps, and sequential compression devices. Documentation is conducted using Meditech. The scheduling requires four weekend shifts within a 28-day cycle and includes holiday rotation. Floating policies will apply based on unit rotation. Patient experience metrics target a minimum requirement of 72%, utilizing communication boards. This role encompasses providing comprehensive patient care and support.
