Description:
This is a 30-bed medical-surgical unit.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
The unit is staffed with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and case management.
Common equipment includes walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs.
The documentation system used is Meditech.
There is a requirement for 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule and participation in the holiday rotation.
Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs.
Patient experience goals require maintaining a 72% satisfaction rating by utilizing communication boards.
The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
