Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 6:1 with LPN support
Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
Operate and monitor unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound VACs, and PCA pumps
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs on the night shift
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience preferred for consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
Burn care experience
Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
Current ACLS certification
