Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
  • Perform wound care, CIWA assessments, and manage heparin drips
  • Operate and monitor unit equipment including wound vacs, kangaroo pumps, and telemetry monitoring systems
  • Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
  • Minimum 1 year of current hospital Medical/Surgical experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience managing a patient load of at least 6 patients simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills in a high-volume acute care setting
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
